Description

History

The lasting success of the Mini was not foreseeable when Alec Issigonis drew his first sketches of the small car - with space for four people and the wheels at the extreme end of the body - on a tablecloth.

On October 4, 2000, the last original Mini rolled off the production line, with only minor technical changes during the 41-year production period. The successful subcompact model had thus reached a total production volume of 5,387,862 vehicles.

This example belongs to the last series built and was delivered six months before the end of production. With full leather upholstery, aluminum dashboard and fine accessories, the sports version was upgraded to a very luxurious level. Freshly inspected, serviced and with only 13,000 km on the clock, this as-new example is going into the hands of a new owner.
